Minas

Moving to the UK from his birthplace of Athens, Greece, Minas began life in an unconventional way being brought up with parents involved in Nofitstate Circus, moving around a lot and being pulled out of school regularly to go on the road. Being exposed to such a multitude of sounds during these years, due to the circus’ diverse cast and crew from all parts of the world, Minas would absorb it all which began building his vast knowledge and understanding of music.

Minas went on to study Music Production at the ACM in Guildford, before going onto compose for Theatre and Circus, where he found a love for creating sounds unique to the project/scene or performance. He then took this experience into his work as a producer. After years of studying various genres and being a general fan of a wide array of music, Minas found he had a knack for encapsulating who the artist was, understanding their vision. He is able to build a sound uniquely tailored to whoever was in the session at the time, regardless of genre.

Since moving to Cardiff, Minas has become one of Wales’ most notable producers, once quoted as “the producer who uplifted the entire Cardiff Music Scene”. He’s produced/produces for a variety of big names in the Welsh Scene such as Mace the Great, Luke RV, SHLUG, Sage Todz, Spit Hood, Local, Blue Amber, Lloyd, Adjua, Bruna Garcia, Telgate, Dan Bettridge, Mali Hâf, Po Griff, Ivor Woods, Noah Bouchard, Figo, Razkid & Niques as well as fully self-producing his own Minas project and until recently his band teethin.

2023 saw him and the band on two national tours. With Bad//Dreems of Australia and BENEFITS of Teesside. Performing at numerous festivals such as The Great Escape, FOCUS Wales and Sŵn Festival. 2024 brought Minas’ second international booking (after Future Echoes, Sweden) they played New Colossus, New York and SXSW, Austin, Texas. His debut album “All My Love Has Failed Me” nominated for the Welsh Music Prize 2023. In 2025 Minas renamed the band “teethin” which was hugely successful in its first and only year, gaining massive praise from publications such as Kerrang!, NME, Clash Magazine, Dork Magazine, Wonderland Mag and radio praise from the likes of Steve Lamaq, Emily Pilbeam, Huw Stephens, Jack Saunders, John Kennedy, BBC Radio6Music, Radio 1, Radio X and BBC Radio Wales.

Outside of Wales, Minas works a fair amount in London and North England at various studios with artists such as Jayahadadream, Shivani Day, KOJ and Keepvibesnear to name a few.

Minas brings a rare sensibility to his productions, leaving artist’s with not only their release but a better understanding of the sound they’re building altogether.
