Fernando Press aka “Ferno” is a well-rounded producer and songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father introduced him to music and the studio life as a child when his group was signed to Sony Music in the early 90’s. Ferno started out watching his father record and produce records for his album. At the age of 14, Ferno started making beats and attended Roxborough High School in Philadelphia, PA where he began producing for his high school talent shows. After graduating from high school Ferno started his own production company called Prestige Music Group and began producing and recording local artists in Philadelphia. In 2010 Ferno interned for Grammy award winning producer Vidal Davis at Studio 609 where he worked with multiple major recording artists and gained more experience in the music industry. In 2014 he held the #1 position on the Billboard Gospel Chart with his smash hit “If He did it Before,’ the record made it to #7 in the Billboard top 200. He has received two Grammy awards for his co-production on artist Tye Tribbet Greater Than Album. Ferno recently signed his first co-publishing deal with The Royalty Network in December of 2014.
