Dana Calitri

Dana Calitri is a multi-platinum selling songwriter and singer. Her songs can be heard all over the world on radio, TV, in film, jingles and games.
After recording deals with Virgin and then Universal, Dana began writing songs for other artists and landed her first cut with *NSYNC which ultimately sold over 5 million records.

In 1999 Dana signed with Notation Music Publishing, writing songs for acclaimed international artists and winning more gold and platinum awards with Bad Boy Records artist DREAM and country singer JESSICA ANDREWS.

In 2004 Dana began working with B.O.K. Music Publishing and The Royalty Network. In 2007 her song CRASHED appeared on the highly successful DAUGHTRY debut, which sold almost 6 million records word-wide. The song was a hit at rock radio, was licensed repeatedly for commercials and TV sports events and was even used in the Super Bowl. In 2010 her hit single I GET OFF put Atlantic artist, HALESTORM, on the map and was one of the top 10 rock singles of the year.
Dana recently added another gold record to her collection with SHINEDOWN’s AMARYLIS.

In addition to writing songs, Dana has written and sung on jingles for every product imaginable, including Folgers, Coke, and Pillsbury, to name a few.
She wrote the current theme song to WINDY CITY LIVE, a daily talk show out of Chicago, has had songs in numerous other TV shows and is the voice of American Idol Barbie.

A graduate of Brown University, Dana currently teaches songwriting and voice at New York University and is a guest lecturer at The Berklee College of Music.
