The Royalty Network has signed a new Co-publishing agreement with Morgan Taylor Reid (http://www.morgantaylorreid.com/home.cfm). Morgan is best known for his music as a solo artist with his song "Brighter", which was featured during the Season 7 finale of ‘Grey's Anatomy’, his song "Simply Human" was featured on ‘House’ (Season 8, Episode 9 FOX) and his song "Where Do I Even Start?" was featured in Season 8, Episode 8 of ‘Grey's Anatomy’. After being featured on Grey’s Anatomy, "Where Do I Even Start?" reached #74 on the Top 100 Alternative Songs on iTunes. Morgan also co-wrote and produced the new EP by ‘7LIONS’ released this year by Red One’s label, 2101. His work will be Co-Published between SONGS OF BENAIR CHURCHILL (BMI) & TENYOR MUSIC (BMI).
RoyNet would like to welcome new co-publishing client, producer Julius Preston. Julius. Julius co-produced the song “Hold Me Back” on the recent #1 album by rapper Rick Ross ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’. This song will be handled under RoyNet Music (ASCAP).
We are happy to announce that rapper Daniel Sewell aka Danny Brown has signed an Administration deal with The Royalty Network. Danny hails from Detroit, Michigan & his 2011 album topped the list at #1 as Spin magazines ‘Hip Hop album of the year’. MTV has also called Danny Brown "one of rap's most unique figures in recent memory.” Last year Danny released his most popular album to date titled ‘XXX’ & in 2012 he was featured on the cover of ‘XXL’ magazine for their annual "Top 10 Freshmen list". We are happy to have Danny Brown on board as a new client.
We have renewed our Administration deal with client Lamont Porter aka EZ Elpee. EZ is a producer with a very impressive music catalog. He recently worked with rapper Rick Ross on the song “Presidential” off his #1 album ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’. Our deal with EZ Elpee will continue until 2015.
The Royalty Network is happy to welcome music company Super Audio which is based in South India, as our new Administration client. Super Audio’s diverse catalog of music ranges from- Sanskrit Chants, Vedic Chants, Music Therapy, Classical Instrumental, Pop and so much more.
Johnnie ‘Smurf’ Smith has signed a new Administration deal with RoyNet. The producer/ keyboardist has worked with Jill Scott, Leela James, Faith, Keyshia Cole, Musiq, Fred Hammond, Tupac & T-Pain just to name a few. Johnnie also released a gospel album titled “Surrender” in early 2012. His music works will be administered through his company MELODIC PIANO PRODUCTIONS (ASCAP).
