We’re pleased to announce we have signed an Administration agreement with Alicia Correa (Asereco Music – Ascap), the Wife and executor of the works of Willie Bobo, one of the great Latin Percussionist of his time. A relentless swinger on the congas and timbales, a flamboyant showman onstage, and an engaging if modestly endowed singer. Growing up in Spanish Harlem, Bobo began on the bongos at age 14, only to find himself performing with Perez Prado a year later, studying with Mongo Santamaria while serving as his translator, and joining Tito Puente for a four-year stint at age 19. Recording for Verve in the mid-'60s, Bobo achieved his highest solo visibility with albums that enlivened pop hits of the day with Latin rhythms, spelled by sauntering originals like "Spanish Grease" and "Fried Neck Bones and Some Home Fries." His new album ‘Lost & Found’ (Concord), is a fine collection of Bobo recordings dating from the early to mid-'70s, when the artist was still at the peak of his creativity . We are pleased Mrs. Bobo has elected to sign an Agreement with the Network.

Mickey Davis p/k/a ‘Black Key’ has renewed his administration agreement with The Royalty Network. Black Key, representing works of Bad Boy’s act ‘Da Band’, along with producing for the likes of Jadakiss, DMX, Ludacris, Beenie Sigel, Freeway, and more, Black Key has proven himself as more than your average producer. We look forward to continuing our efforts to further exploit his material.
