August 2008 Marvin ‘Chanz’ Parkman, has signed an Agreement with The Royalty Network. Chanz is a Grammy Award winning musician, who has been an asset to the success of many well known artist in the Music Industry today. His performances include R&B, Pop, Rap, Gospel, Movie Scores and Sound Tracks. Under the tutelage of his father Jimmy “Bud” Parkman of the well known recording gospel group “The Five Trumpets”, Chanz inherited his father’s multi-talented gifts as a musician, songwriter, producer and vocalist. His credits include songs by Freddie Jackson, TLC, Outkast, Boyz II Men, Truth Hurts, Keyshia Cole, and more. His works are administered via his Parkman Infinity Publishing (BMI) catalog. We look forward to working his catalog over the next few years. J Wells aka ‘Raquel Kirby’ (www.myspace.com/Jwellsmusic) has signed an Administration Agreement with The Royalty Network. J. Wells was born and raised in Chicago but moved to California in his early years. He started his career in entertainment at the age of 12 as a rapper, and actor starring in several commercials including Levi's and Mcdonalds. In the summer of 2000 he found a new Dallas-based hip hop collective of Styliztik Jones and Versatile collectively called "Virus". The group caught the attention of Warner Brothers Record executives and Virus was eventually signed to Warner Brothers in 2001. Due to Warner Brothers political problems the label dropped all hip-hop oriented acts thus their first album Outbreak was shelved for unknown reasons. Encouraged early on by J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks, J. Wells was invited to join the legendary Likwit Crew which includes Tha Alkaholiks E-Swift, J Ro and Tash (rapper), King Tee, LootPack, Phil Da Agony, and Defari as well as the extended Likwit family of Xzibit, Dilated Peoples, Planet Asia, Madlib, Evidence, amongst others. The next year Tha Liks took him on the road on Snoop Dogg's 'Puff Puff Pass' tour, where he met Kurupt from the Dogg Pound (with whom he later released an collaboration album "Digital Smoke" ). In 2005 at the age of 22, J.Wells launched his own record label Bonzi Records distributed by Fontana Distribution [3]. J.Wells completed his debut album on Bonzi Records, "Digital Master", which was hugely successful throughout the West Coast. It features new Artist signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment Bishop Lamont, as well as other artists including Method Man, Mitchy Slick, Goodie Mob, Tha Liks, Jayo Felony, Kurupt, Roscoe, and Planet Asia. J. Wells also produced the Goodie Mob single, Play Yo Flutes,featuring Sleepy Brown, for Goodie Mob's album One Monkey Don't Stop No Show. Wells produced songs for Snoop Dogg's animated DVD "The Adventures of The Blue Carpet Treatment", also J.Wells Produced "Work It Out" for Keyshia Coles' Platinum CD "Just Like You". In 2007 Wells teamed up with The Dogg Pounds' Kurupt to release “Digital Smoke” . There has been a surge in demand for J. Wells in Film & TV after having his tracks featured on hit taste-maker shows such as,The Sopranos and Six Feet Under, and F. Gary Grays' blockbuster film and soundtrack Be Cool. His songs are also featured in the video games: EA Sports, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 Fight Night Round 3, as well as commercials for major corporations directed by Paul Hunter (director) including McDonalds, Smirnoff, Starbucks, and Coors Light Furthermore, Wells went on to Produce for the likes of Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo, Katt Williams, D-12, Da Brat, Nate Dogg, Rakim, DJ Quik, Canibus, Nicole Wray, Dead Prez, WC, Mack 10, and Tyrese, amongst others... J’s works are administered through his Songs of Bonzi (ASCAP) catalog.Charissa Saverio p/k/a DJ Rap (www.djrap.com) signed an Administration Agreement covering her Propa Songs catalog. DJ Rap has been the undisputed queen of the turntables and voted the #1 female DJ in the world by Shejay, she owns, records for, runs and A&Rs two labels Proper Talent and Improper Talent. A producer, recording artist and an actor, she has been a prime mover on the Drum & Bass scene but not content to just sit in the studio and direct, she learned her craft as an engineer and produced many classics, often while collaborating with other artists. Hits like "Spiritual Aura" changed the face of Drum and Bass and lead to the birth of Proper Talent. Rolling Stone Magazine gave her album, Learning Curve three and a half stars "this is the record Madonna wanted to make." Learning Curve went on to sell over 1000,000 bringing her total sales to over 3000,000 copies worldwide in including her successful compilation sales including Journeys By DJ, Propa Classics Vol. 1 & 2, Brave New World, Armani Exchange & touching bass, Bulletproof, up all night, which have all crossed many genres and has become DJ Rap's trademark.
