Lenny White, (www.lennywhite.com) has signed an Administrtation Agreement with The Royalty Network. Lenny is an American jazz funk drummer, who is best known for playing in Chick Corea's Return to Forever and being one of the forerunners of jazz-rock/funk. White was born in New York City. A self-taught, left-handed drummer on a right-handed kit, he began his career in local groups, and playing regularly with Jackie McLean in the late 1960s. In 1969, he first appeared on Miles Davis' historic recording on Bitches' Brew and later in 1970 he played with Freddie Hubbard on Red Clay before joining Corea's Return to Forever and Azteca in 1972. For five years, he recorded a number of albums with Return to Forever including the award winning No Mystery and Romantic Warrior. In 1978, he switched to Elektra for his album Best of Friends, before forming the group Twennynine in 1979, with Carlo Vaughn (vocals), Jocelyn Smith (vocals), Skip Anderson (keyboards), Barry Johnson (bass), and Eddy Martinez (guitar). White has played with many of the greatest jazz musicians, including Joe Henderson, Woody Shaw, Gato Barbieri, Gil Evans, Jaco Pastorius, and Stan Getz. Early in 2008 Istanbul Agop released the new 22" Lenny White Signature Ride. According to certain sources, the ride is heavily inspired by a ride that was given to Lenny by the late fellow drummer Tony Williams. [2] The cymbal is made of B20 bronze and features unique hammering and lathing techniques which give the cymbal a dark, dry sound. Most recently, Lenny White has reunited with former members Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, and Al Di Meola to form Return to Forever again. They are currently touring around the US

Andrian ‘Archer’ Adams, has signed an Agreement with The Royalty Network. Archer has written three (3) songs for the upcoming Noel Gourdin release on Sony BMG Music. We’ve signed an Agreement with Charles Penniman p/k/a ‘Glasses Malone’ (www.myspace.com/gmalone). Glasses is a Watts/L.A. native Glasses Malone's explosive mixtape run placed him far ahead of the crop of "New West" MCs that emerged in the mid- to late 2000s. Malone actually grew up between both Watts and Compton neighborhoods in Los Angeles. He immediately made a big impact with street albums The Crack Mixtape (2003) and White Lightning (2005) which together sold in the tens of thousands and provided a number of hits for L.A. radio. The buzz he created from those two mixtapes alone stirred up a high-end, major-label bidding war that included Def Jam, Atlantic, and Aftermath as suitors. However, in late 2005 Malone signed a whopping $1.7 million distribution deal with Sony for his Blu Division imprint. Malone was released from his contract in 2007, but wasted no time in securing a joint deal with Cash Money and Westside Connection MC Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' imprint practically a week later. He then offered up his first proper single, "Certified," with hook-crooner Akon, which slowly made its way into national radio rotation. Glasses album, ‘The Beach Cruiser’ is due for release this fall on Cash Money / Universal. The members of Zebrahead (www.zebrahead.tv) have renewed their Agreement with The Royalty Network. Their latest album, ‘Phoenix’, was released July 18th, in Japan and debuted at #1 on the International charts, outselling The Offspring, Madonna, Coldplay, and more. The guys are currently touring extensively, so please check their website and see them in your Town.

Robbers on High Street (www.robbersonhighstreet.com) have renewed their Administration Agreement with The Royalty Network. The band’s latest album, ‘Grand Animals’ is the band's second full length album, released on July 24, 2007. For this album the band connected with Italian film composer Daniele Luppi, known mostly for his string and orchestra work with Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley) and pop artists like John Legend. The new collaboration brought out the band's clear obsession with 1960s and 1970s AM radio, and allowed them to explore broader sonic landscapes. Their publishing is administered through their Rocco Grecco Music (Ascap) catalog.
