CAPONE (Kiam Holley) of C-N-N, has signed a worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network. Queens rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga enjoyed massive street credibility with the release of their debut album, The War Report, which earned them a devoted following in the hardcore rap world. They met in 1992 while serving kitchen duty together at Collins Correctional Facility in New York, and became friends; upon their release, they decided to team up as rappers, taking their performing names from two legendary gangsters. Their debut album, ‘The War Report’ was a substantial underground success upon its release in 1997, making the R&B Top Five and going gold.’The Reunion’, which was released in 2000, also on Tommy Boy, was another much sought after release by the duo. With a third album on the way and due later this year on Def Jam, Capone is set to enjoy the limelight once again, while he also focuses on his debut Solo album. Capone’s works are published through his Barbara Marie Music / Mama Luv Music (BMI) catalogs.

Mickey R. Davis a/k/a ‘Black Keys’ (Fifty Four Vill Music – BMI) has signed an Administration deal with the Network, covering the World. Black Keys offers the best of hard hitting beats, and his work has been featured on artists such as DMX (“Who We Be”), Ludacris, Drag-On, Freeway, and the current album by Jadakiss ‘Kiss Of Death’. Black Keys also controls a portion of the Publishing rights to P Diddy’s Bad Boy act ‘Da Band’. We look forward to the opportunity to further exploit Black Keys material.

Gifted producer / songwriters, The Heatmakerz (Gregory Green and Seon Thomas) (Heatmakerz Music – BMI), have signed a Worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network, Inc. Heatmakerz credits are numerous and far reaching. By applying progressive beat making techniques to several leading products, the Heatmakerz are gaining a well respected name in the industry. Their works is already featured on albums by Kay Slay, Lil Flip, Camron, the Diplomats, Ghostface, and upcoming work with Twista, I-20, and Trick Daddy. Once again, the Heatmakerz are poised to place their name at the top of all Artists lists.

Hip Hop Producer, Amar Pep (Wayne Wilkins), has signed a Worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network, Inc. Amar has not only proved himself as a beatsmith for AZ, Kool G Rap, Pitch Black, and others, he’s also scored a film ‘Black Picket Fences’, and he’s working on a Solo album. Amar’s songs are published through his catalog, Amar Pep Music (BMI).

Sound Oasis Productions (Bubo Music – ASCAP / Jenai Publishing – BMI) have signed a deal, excluding North America, with The Royalty Network. Sound Oasis is an established Publisher. Their works include the catalog of material by The Miracles, plus cuts by B2K, Faith Evans, and ATL, plus cuts on the Platinum selling ‘Barbershop’ Soundtrack. Sound Oasis is a pleasant addition to our catalog and we’re certain to hear plenty more from this fast growing catalog.

Paul Hendricks (Baby Paul Muzik – BMI) has re-signed an Administration deal with The Royalty Network. Paul’s impressive resume keeps growing, with the latest additions being cuts by Young Rome and the upcoming AZ album. Paul’s currently hard at work crafting new hit songs for several acts.

We’re happy to announce that Will Roberson (Will-Robe Music – Ascap), has signed an exclusive Co-Publishing agreement for his upcoming work with hit club act, SHANNON. Will is executive producing the forthcoming Shannon album, plus he just concluded work with the Last Poets for their album due later this year on Motown.
