Shane Gamble (www.shanegamble.com) signed an exclusive Administration deal with The Royalty Network. 2010 will mark the return of emerging tunesmith Shane Gamble, as he releases his third full-length release Shane Gamble . Following in the footsteps of Gamble’s sophomore release, Behind The Blue, this new album is an emotionally charged offering of honest and colorfully diverse music—from the shiny tremolo guitars of “All Over You” to the smooth baritone vocal and steady rolling lilt of “Rosalee.” Grooming himself on the classic sounds of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Black Crowes, and the late Chris Whitley, Shane has created a distinctive sound centered on his thought-provoking lyrics, colorful guitar patterns, and haunting ’70s-esque pedal-steel, while striking a delicate balance between pop hooks, atmospheric ballads, and pocket grooves. Gamble’s most recent release Behind the Blue was produced in his own Washington, DC studio. “Producing a record is just as much about the process as it is about the end result,” says Shane. Shane is an Ascap writer, and his works will be handled through his company, Rt 50 Music.

Marion Hall (p/k/a ‘Lady Saw’) has signed an Administrtation Agreement with The Royalty Network. Marion ‘Lady Saw’ Hall, born July 12th in Saint Mary, Jamaica, is known primarily as “The Queen the of Dancehall". She is the first female deejay to win a Grammy Award and to be certified a triple-platinum artist. She is also the first woman to headline dancehall shows outside her native Jamaica. As a child she was a tomboy, sold fruits, and raced wooden karts. At the age of 15, she took the name Lady Saw after the famous Jamaican Deejay Tenor Saw, whose style she is said to emulate. She quit a sewing job at The Free Zone on the outskirts of Kingston to pursue music full time. Similar to other Jamaican artists, Lady Saw started her career on local sound systems. This is a good school if one wants to prepare to eventually record in studio sessions. The Jamaican recording industry is a hard one, and it is of great importance for an artist to have their act together once they enter the studio. Lady Saw is an artist with the abilities to deliver the goods and did so from day one till present! Saw gave great inspiration and empowered female artists in the reggae scene and beyond. She is, and has for the last 15 + years been the number one female dancehall star without doubt, even with strong competition from newer talents like Cecile, Tanya Stephens, and Spice on the Reggae Music scene. Saw is a consistent hit with the general population. She has tried to tame her lyrics but her audiences expect and demand slackness. Her stage persona as Lady Saw is a distinct contrast to her true self 'Marion Hall’. When she was younger, Saw sang in her church choir, a far cry from the sexually explicit lyrics and stage antics she is known and has been criticized for. Saw is mother to three adopted children, two sons and one daughter and her favorite activities include cooking, gardening, and taking care of her children.

Following her release from VP Records, Marion formed her own independent label called, Divas Records! Now in a partnership with Toasting Music, she will be releasing her newest album entitled, “My Way” on September 7, 2010. Additionally, Saw is currently working on a project featuring works from her alter ego ‘Marion Hall’ which will be released in 2011. Look out for both of these projects because the Queen is back and she means business!
