May 1, 2003 Rakheim Meyer p/k/a Marcy Rock along with his Marcy Rock Music (ASCAP) catalog has signed a worldwide administration agreement with The Network. Rakheim’s repertoire includes song writing and features on Busta Rhymes “The Heist” and “Here We Go Again”, Rah Digga’s “For You,” Tony Touch’s “Set It On Fire” and Pete Rock’s “Give It To Ya’ll,” amongst many others. The Royalty Network will now administer David Collins p/k/a Shabazz The Disciple and his Denysha Ya Ya Publishing (BMI) song roster, worldwide. Shabazz’ material includes writing and featured artist credits for Gravediggaz, Wu-Tang and Lord Jamar, as well as numerous recording artists in Europe through his own label God’s Work. Ron Browz and his Browz Music (BMI) catalog will be handled by the Network, worldwide. Ron produced Big L’s “Ebonics,” “Size Em Up,” “The Heist,” and “Casualties of a Dice Game,” as well as Nas’ “Ether” and “Last Real Niggas” and other hits for Fat Joe, Lil Kim and DMX. Monica Benson and her BOK Music (BMI)/Wild Pink Music (ASCAP) catalogs has renewed her agreement for an additional three years. Monica has been a client since 1999 and has continuously had song placements in television dramas, commercials and sitcoms and major motion pictures and soundtracks. We look forward to a maintaining a mutually successful relationship. The Network will now administer Jana Bent (www.janabent.com) and her Stilwell Songs (ASCAP) worldwide. Jana has toured with international superstar Shaggy and worked very closely on songwriting projects with Robert Livingston of Big Yard Music Group. Most recently, she has collaborated with Bounty Killer and independently released her own project, Shadow Girl. Producer Lerone Idlett has signed a collection agreement with The Network, whereby we will ensure payments for his Lavern’s Divine Blessing (BMI) repetoire. Lerone’s beats have appeared on tracks on Afu-Ra’s Li. Rob Di Stefano has entered into an administration agreement to handle his Twisted House Music (ASCAP). Twisted Records boasts an enormous catalog of classic dance and house music, with branches in London, England. Mark Hobold a/k/a Marky Star (www.euphoriachicago.com) and his newly formed catalog will be administered by The Network. Mark is a dance producer and DJ whose material appears on numerous songs from Omni A.M., collaborations with Mark Ambrose, Eddie Richards & Tyree Cooper, remixes with Jay Tripwire, Peakshift and Steven Kol, as well as his own single releases. |
