His Verdine White Songs (Ascap) and Vershell Songs (Ascap) catalogs, both contain hit material covered in the deal. Peter Erskine, has signed a Worldwide Administration Agreement with The Royalty Network. A highly skilled, versatile drummer, Peter Erskine has anchored big bands and jazz-rock/fusion groups. He's known for sophisticated rhythms, distinctive accompaniment, and powerful, rippling solos. Erskine joined Weather Report in 1978, and was their drummer and percussionist until 1982. He also did several West Coast sessions in the late '70s, and was a member of Steps and Steps Ahead. During the '80s he worked with John Abercrombie's groups and the quartet Bass Desires. Erskine has recorded as a leader for Contemporary, Denon, Ah Um, RCA/Novus, and Passport Jazz. He's worked with Joe Farrell, Marc Johnson, Mike Brecker, Randy Brecker, John Scofield, Bob Mintzer, Lew Soloff, Kenny Kirkland, Mike Mandel, and Kenny Werner, among others. Alan Glass has signed a Co-Publishing Agreement with The Royalty Network. Starting as a young man with his brother Preston Glass, they met legendary songwriter Thom Bell. Thom schooled them in the art of song writing resulting in covers for world-class artists such as Aretha Franklin, The Stylistics, The Temptations & George Benson the Spinners and Jermaine Stewart ['We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes off"]. Having learned their trade with one of the worlds' greatest writers, they decided to strike out by themselves forming a production company that in the late Eighties dominated the US R&B charts, scoring huge hit records with the likes of Kenny G, Earth Wind & Fire, Phyllis Hyman, Sheena Easton, Jenifer Holiday & Imagination. Since his arrival in the UK, Alan's compositions have graced albums by Maxi Priest, Junior Giscombe, Gwen Dickey, Ruby Turner, Lighthouse Family - 2 million copies - and Aswad - 1 million. As of late, Alan has written for Udo...[Belgium X-Factor winner]..with the song "Winter in July" which went to number one. He also has a top 10 record in Belgium with the artist Brahim...with the song..."What I Like About You". Alan also wrote and produced the Philip Bailey Album...[from Earth Wind And Fire] called Life And Love. Alan has also had a number 1 song in Australia called "Wishes" by Human Nature. Phil Perry has renewed his Agreement with The Royalty Network. Phil’s catalog is Pepsongs Music (ASCAP). His latest album, ‘A Mighty Love’ was released on Shanachie Records. We’re pleased to continue our relationship, and look forward to working closely with Phil.

Jay Christy “Detroit Red” Powell signed a Co-Publishing Agreement covering his catalog, including the 50 Cent song “Man Down” off the latest album ‘Curtis’. Jay’s ready to make big things happen, and his proven songwriting /production ability will certainly lead to lots more. We’re happy to have Jay, who’s an ASCAP writer, aboard.

Roy Augustus Thompson (p/k/a Bugle), has signed a Worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network, Inc., covering his catalog, Elgub Publishing (Ascap). Bugle started his career in 2000, when he was featured with Elephant Man. He joined forces with the Daseca productions (another Royalty Network client) in 2007, which has turned into a hit making year for Bugle. A talented rapper, Backbone’s work has been featured on numerous leading Artist releases, including his solo album and those of Goodie Mob, Bubba Sparxx, Dungeon Family, and more. IrieLove Richards, has signed a Worldwide Administration Agreement for her Irielove Music (Ascap), catalog. Irielove began singing at 13, through the encouragement of her Mother. Irielove’s 6 foot tall stature brought many opportunities for both print and runway modeling as well. Irie has worked as backup singer on tour with Pink, Dave Hollister, and Chaka Khan. She’s currently recording with leading producers, Stephen McGregor, Christopher Birch, and Sly & Robbie. She’s preparing her 2008 full length album, ‘The Life Of Love’.
