Vendetta Publishing (BMI) has signed a Worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network. The catalog includes all songs written by Alaine. Singer/songwriter Alaine possesses a sweet voice, songwriting skills that show a depth of experiences and a smile that could brighten any day. Her talents as a singer and actress were recognized while she was a child and secured her roles in numerous Jamaican television programs and commercials, radio jingles, and theatrical productions. After graduating with an honors degree in Management and Psychology, Alaine moved to New York where she juggled working in an Investment Bank (JPMorgan) while pursuing her musical career. After receiving two promotions at JP Morgan, she would no longer have the time to dedicate to her music career and so she had to choose between the security of a fulltime job and the uncertainty that came with pursuing music. Since returning to Jamaica in July of 2004 Alaine has worked with some of the islands top producers including the internationally acclaimed Sly & Robbie (No Doubt ) and Donovan 'Don Corleon' Bennett (Sean Paul, T.O.K) . Her song 'No Ordinary Love' charted on several Reggae Charts from across the world including, New York, Florida, Japan, Europe and the Caribbean. The music video topped the charts on MTV Tempo's Cross Caribbean Countdown for several weeks and became the first video by a female reggae artist to be retired from the countdown on one of Jamaica's biggest video request shows, E-Strip. 'Wine' has been featured on Strictly the Best Volume 5 (VP Records 2007) and 'The Biggest Ragga Anthems for 2006' (Greensleeves Records). 'Dreaming of You' (featuring, Beenie Man), 'Rise In Love' , 'I Love You (featuring Busy Signal) and Sacrifice, among others, are in rotation across the world. Alaine performed at Reggae Sumfest 2005 and 2006 to positive reviews. A music video for her single Sacrifice, directed by top Jamaican director Ras Kassa was recently released. Alaine is the perfect combination of beauty and talent. Her sweet voice coupled with her song writing skills perfectly combine to create and unforgettable sound that is all her own. Vince Mendoza has signed an exclusive Administration Agreement with the Royalty Network, Inc. The wide scope of his works demonstrates an extraordinary understanding of many musical languages. Heralded by critics as a master of contemporary idioms, composer and arranger Vince Mendoza has become a primary choice for the world’s most sophisticated contemporary musicians. Born in 1961 in Norwalk, Connecticut, Mendoza began learning classical guitar and piano from an early age. Discovering Miles Davis, Gil Evans, and later, Igor Stravinsky and Alban Berg gave him a further complex perspective of the construction of musical forms and ideas. The music of Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter became a strong influence on his big band writing. He’s become a frequent collaborator with Peter Erskine. Mendoza's work as an arranger can be heard on many expansive jazz projects from the mid-1980s onwards, that include work with the Yellowjackets, Al DiMeola, Gino Vanelli, Joe Zawinul, Mike Stern, Kyle Eastwood and the GRP All Star Big Band, among many others. His CD “Epiphany” is a stunning set of compositions for the London Symphony Orchestra and jazz soloists. Joined by old friends, Abercrombie, Brecker, Erskine, Lovano and Kenny Wheeler, as well as the sublime bass work of Marc Johnson and piano of John Taylor, Mendoza sets the scene of each piece with the orchestra, allowing these seven great jazz “voices” to deliver the next layer of emotive harmony and expression. Vince was recently honored with a Grammy Award for his work on the Joe Zawinul “Brown Street” album on Heads Up records. It is his 4th Grammy and 16th nomination.

She began singing at the early age of 4, and as a teenager she formed a four girl group N.O.L.T (None Other Like This) where she became the primary lead singer and vocal arranger, and began to receive rave reviews from local talents shows, and showcases. Butta is the CEO of Ameba Writers Entertainment and has landed 3 intertantional placements on Sandrines’ Album “Boosted 2” “Empty Hearts“ is the second single off the album and “So Hot “ will be the third. Samemo Publishing (BMI), has signed a Co-Publishing Agreeement with The Royalty Network. The first group covered by the deal is A Love Like Pi. The Red Bank, New Jersey trio includes Lief Liebmann (vocals, synthesizers, violin), Collin Boyle (bass) and Christopher LoPorto (drums). The Atlas and the Oyster, the band’s first album, seamlessly interweaves driving pop-punk, and danceable beats, even ethereal electronic—at times in the same song. Liebmann has the ability to inject each song with danceable hooks, catchy choruses and most-importantly its unique personality. It’s instantly found in the staccato beats of “Innocent Man,” swelling epic rock of “A Merry Cain,” and style shifts of “Keep My Lovers True.” “I love the dichotomy in our music. It has this element of technology and the power and soul of rock,” says Liebmann. The CD was recorded and produced by Kenny Gioia (Bayside, Head Automatica, Four Years Strong) at General Studios in Queens, New York. Liebmann, who sums up A Love Like Pi’s shows as “an explosion of energy, craziness and unpredictability,” have extensively toured the East Coast and have appeared at the Bamboozle 2008 festival and the South by Southwest music conference. Touring is planned through the spring and summer.
