Zebrahead and their affiliated Publishing companies, Plagiarism Publishing, Kamikaze Zero Music, Grand Master Chimp and da Cronies, Bust A Nutt In Your Eye Music, and Butt Nugget and the Squirrels, BMI members have signed Worldwide administration deals with The Royalty Network. Inspired by acts including Fugazi and the Descendants, the group found themselves uninspired by the local trend towards ska-punk, and instead began incorporating elements of hip-hop into their sound. We are pleased to announce the signing of our agreement with Ricky Quionones (Won Poset Songs) for the territory of The World. Ricky’s work includes placements with India Aire, and his latin based guitar playing and unique vocals, are a welcome addition to The Royalty Network’s catalog. We look forward to the opportunity to build a solid relationship with Ricky for many years.

Hip-hop producer / Artist Vitamin D (Derrick Brown) has signed a worldwide publishing administration agreement with The Royalty Network. Vitamin D has already achieved a lengthy string of successes, producing several hits for artists including De La Soul, Gift of Gab, and DJ Numark. He is also producing for upcoming releases by Busta Rhymes, Yummy, and Jean Grae . Look for big things from Vitamin D, now in the future. He works are published via his Tall Homie Music (ASCAP) catalog.

Duane Covert has signed a publishing administration agreement with The Royalty Network for the World. Duane is a talented writer and producer with cuts on the upcoming Syleena Johnson project on Jive. We look forward to working with Duane and assisting him in growing his catalog.

We’re pleased to announce the signing of new emerging Pop/Rock act, Spare Change. Spare Change are a self contained performing, writing, and producing team. The varied Freibank catalog has been a welcome addition to our company, and their unique blend of cutting edge material always keeps us busy to work on additional placements. With leading alternative Artists such as, T. Raumschmiere, Ian Pooley, and Roedelius, we’re sure to keep working on further expanding their horizons.

Another renewal this month include the re-signing of our Sub-Publishing agreement with Big World Music Publishing / Music Like Dirt. We will continue to handle their catalogs in the territory of North America. Their catalog consists of all music styles from Pop, Rock, R&B, and Dance, to classical crossover, and the dopest deep Funk, while the subsidiary Music Like Dirt catalog offers some of the best classic Reggae from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Robert Bailey and his Wall Street Records label, have signed a publishing administration agreement with The Royalty Network for the World. Robert Bailey a/k/a Dillgin is a talented recording Artist and label head. He has recorded leadings songs by some of Dancehall’s elite, including Anthony B, Luciano, Sizzla, Capleton, and more. We are pleased to announce the signing of a Worldwide Administration deal with Hip Hop producer/writer, Dario ‘Skitzo’ Rodriguez. Skitzo is blazing a trail now, hot off his latest single on Camron, “Get Em Girls”. He’s also produced pass hits for The Diplomats. The song is an immediate attention getter for Killa Cam. Bootylicous Publishing, LLC (BMI), the Publishing arm of Triad Entertainment, has signed a Worldwide Administration agreement with The Royalty Network. Triad will be a leading force in exposing the hot new sounds emerging out of Houston, including representing leading producer/writer, “Kojack”. His first break through success was Lil Flip’s monster Double Platinum single, “The Way We Ball”. Currently their roster includes Hip Hop and R&B artists, all of which are being developed under the close watchful eye of “Kojack”, while he continues producing for the elite of Hip Hop and R&B.
