Leading Neo Soul producer, Rich Medina, has signed a Worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network, Inc. Rich’s production continues to lead the current Neo-Soul movement, having produced for such artists, as Jill Scott, King Britt, and Nobody. He’s also focused on building his dub poet career, and is working on developing several new acts. As a talented DJ / Producer he tours the World spinning at the most highly respected clubs. Rich’s sets are sure to inspire everyone to hit the dance floor and groove as never before. We look forward to a long working relationship with Rich, and helping to further build his career. His songs are published through his Ricardo Grande Music catalog. The Royalty Network is happy to announce we have extended our Sub-Publishing deal with David Gresham Music for the territory of South Africa, for another three (3) years, beginning January 1, 2004 and extending through December 31, 2006. David Gresham has been our exclusive representative for the past 3 years,, during which we’ve seen our collections increase in the ever growing market of South Africa, and we’re pleased to extend our Agreement with them. Sirup Music have signed a Sub-Publishing deal with the Network, covering the territory of North America. Sirup Music is the home of leading Trance artist, DJ Tatana, as well as Best Company (Taucher), and Unmark (Reverb). Sirup Records releases have already been licensed to numerous labels in the U.S., including Water Music and Ultra Records. We look forward to the opportunity to further exploit their high quality material in our Territory. We are pleased to announce the signing of Surabaya Music / Funky Juice Records, to a Sub-Publishing deal for North America. Funky Juice (www.funkyjuice.com) specialize in NuJazz electronic, brazilian-grooves, bossa-beats, lounge atmosphere, chill-out moods, vintage-house sounds and 70’s funky phat-beats. The label was born in 1997 in Rome, founded by the producer / dj / musician Roby "jazzman" Colella a.k.a Roby J.C.. After 10 years "Funky juice records" had the chance to meet and work with all of the best and respected international independent labels of the scene, like F-com, Wagram, Unique, Irma, Zomba and Compost. Look for lots more from this hip cool collective. J Brown (Jason Brown), has signed a worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network. J Brown has been paying his dues and doing whatever necessary to put himself in a position to take off. Music has been in his blood since birth. J got his first break in 2000, when the song “What U Gonna Do” was recorded by NAS and the Bravehearts and released on the Platinum selling album ‘Baller Blockin’ on Cash Money. J hasn’t looked back since then, he’s gone on to record songs by Prodigy feat. Lil Kim, Swizz Beats feat. Bounty Killer, the LOX, Sheek Louch, Mishonda, and is currently on the charts with phenom, Cassidy. His works are published through his Jason Brown Publishing (Ascap) catalog. We’re happy to announce that Kobie Brown (Proceed Music), has extended his deal for an additional two (2) year period. Kobie’s been a part of the Network since 2000, and his works have included material by Liberty City, Allure, and Ideal. He’s been focussed in breaking and developing his new acts, and is near to announcing a signing. |
