Fingazz (John Stary)



Fingazz (John Stary) is an established producer, musician, mixer, songwriter, artist and engineer from the Inland Empire in California, just east of Los Angeles. Along with his business partner Flossy, he started Streetlight Music in 1997, an independent production company that has built a reputation for creating rap, R&B, and pop hits. An instrumental part of the I.E. hip-hop movement, Fingazz has been the developing producer for artists like Lunch, Diamonique and Dirty Birdy. He broke into the California scene back in 2000 with the regional classic, "I Love Cali (in the Summertime)" by Young Roscoe.
This single featured Fingazz on the talkbox, a specialty of this multi-talented producer, who also engineers and mixes his own records. Fingazz has been writing and producing charting singles for a multitude of chicano rap artists. Fingazz has set an unprecedented record for the independent world, with such success stories as the more recent smash hit single "Lean Like A Cholo" by Down, certified gold downloads as well as platinum ringtones in addition to charting in the Billboard Top 20 Single. With his broad range of musical influences, Fingazz has the ability to bring out the best in each artist. Working with a multitude of artist that vary in genre and style, he custom creates an original sound for each and every artist and with his hit-making abilities creates monster radio hits. In '08, major labels like Interscope, Atlantic, Epic/Sony, and Warner Brothers are calling on this I.E. producer to contribute to upcoming projects.
